Here is the letter posted to the appropriate lists by Shelia Jacoby

I am sending this message to the group on behalf of myself and my husband Mark, as well as Kurt and Kathleen Olsen. It is difficult to figure out what words to use to express the news was finally confirmed today, but probably the best place is in the beginning. Quite a while back Julianne Briggs e-mailed me and said, "have you noticed how much Molly looks like Karissa Olsen" and so our journey began. We have exchanged pictures over time, speculated, thought "no way" and so on.

In February we were blessed to have the Olsens come to Orlando for vacation and finally we were able to see our girls (Karissa and Molly) together. It was beyond striking how much they looked alike and more startling that they sound exactly the same. Molly has a twinge of southern accent, but short of that their voices were almost impossible to tell apart. They both have huge attachments to their blankets and that distict over bite from sucking their thumb.

That meeting led to the realization that DNA confirmation was needed and today we received confirmation that Molly Jacoby (page 3 on the photo album) and Karissa Olsen (page 2) are in fact fraternal twins. I know each of you grasp the remoteness of ever finding out something like this.

We have all just finished a teleconference with Julianne because without her I'm not sure any of us would have noticed how much our girls "look alike". They were brought into the orphange a month apart, but amazingly both share April 12th as a birthday.

I think I can safely say for all of us that we are stunned, which even when you strongly suspect it is a whole different matter to finally know for sure. We are also amazed at all the miracles that had to occur to make this day possible and that these two little girls have found each other. We, of course, don't think the orphange had any idea that they had twins and most likely the girls probably never came in contact to the degree that anyone would have ever noticed when they were still so young.

We are thankful for the gift and the grace that led these two sisters back together again.
